The issue of Britain being a Post-Christian society is coming more and more to the forefront of British politics. Increasing politicians are drawing parallels between themselves and key figures within the Bible, using the Bible to justify their politics and policies and making extremist statements we’re more used to hearing from our American cousin’s.
Are we really in an identity crisis or are some people with very big voices resisting the diversification of religion in Britain? Is a Pagan Renaissance necessary or should we be embracing a multi-cultural future in which Paganism plays its part?
Interesting musings spawned by reading Is Britain’s Identity Crisis due to ignoring its Pagan roots ? And listening to Ann Widdecombe in her episode of The Bible: A History. Im not sure I have a convincing answer but I do know that I’m board of hearing her that Britain is without a moral compass.
