To complement my posting of the Talisman and Spell Pouch I have put together some information on how to create your own spell pouches.
The method itself is quite simple, and should reflect your personal practice. In addition to gathering together your pouch and components in your sacred space you should develop a personal prayer or invocation which clearly defines your goal and calls upon the divine powers in any form to aid you. You can also consider including affirmations either in full or sigil form to include within the pouch which should be decided on and developed ahead of time. you can even consider what would be the most appropriate day of the week and astrological hour for your work.
Once everything is gathered and you are ready begin by invoking the divine powers. You may wish to light a candle of an associated colour and meditate on the situation. Visualise the positive outcome associated with the pouch and the steps involved. Handle each componants and ask that your deities bless them. If there is a written component now is the time to create the final version.
Fold any paper three times in total; if the pouch is designed to bring something to you fold towards you. If the pouch is intended to turn something from you fold it away. Finally add all the components and seal the pouch. Resume meditating on the goal, holding the completed pouch in your dominant hand, before thanking those divinities that were invoked.
Your pouch is then ready for use. You can wear them, carry them, hide them, whatever fits your purpose but leave the pouch intact until it has achieved its purpose. If you wish to dismantle the pouch dispose of the contents by one of the four elements, by casting it into flames, running water, the wind or burying it in the earth. If you choose to do this and you created the pouch for purpose you should also dispose of the pouch, or ensure that it is reused for exactly the same purpose.
These suggestions are not exhaustive as I have concentrated on components you might already have in your kitchen cupboard or are readily avalible without being expensive. As these suggestions are quite general in heading you may want to research specific associations, particularly herbal and crystal, which better reflect your situation.
